Tasting Notes: All spice & cloves, Bay leaf & holiday spices, raspberry tart, cherry cola, the wine has good balance with firm tannins, is complete with a long lingering flavors & finish showing good European style and drink ability. Vineyard Notes: Produced from the vineyards located in the Shenandoah Valley of Amador County. The granite soils of Amador County are well suited to producing distinctive, earthy, bull bodied Zinfandel that have a wonderful character all to themselves. Production Notes: 77% from the Bowman Vineyard (33 years old), 8% Manby Vineyard, 8% Chapman Vineyard, 6% York Vineyard in Fiddletown, 1% Clockspring Vineyard. Winemaker Notes: Forward and luscious, this lively wine almost jumps out of the glass. Briary, blackberry extractive Amador Zinfandel. French oak aging contributes to the rounded complexity. Food Pairing: Try this food friendly Zinfandel with any grilled meat or chicken, or pair with pizza, pasta and burgers!
